Middy resource page
violentblue - 13/3/04 at 07:03 PM

as I mentioned some time ago I was thinking of building a page specifically for information and resources, and possibly a basic forum, centered around the mid-engined scratchbuilt car.

Not my intention to take away from this forum, but more for a design exercise on my part , develop some basic skills with PHP and to have a semi-centralized source for mid engined specific info.

So I'm ready to begin piecing it all together.

Right now I'm accepting suggestions for a name.
So far I was offered www.xcars.org, sounds cool, but I'm looking for other options.

I say keep it simple and straightforward... something that someone can go to google and type "midengine", which will find the site. Anything cute or clever will only serve to make it hard to find.

www.midengine.com gets my vote.

I had a look and www.midengine.com is for sale somewhere between $690 and $10,000

Every other version is available for a couple of quid though...

How about www.mid-engine.com, which came up as not found.

Good points above too... no reason it has to be a .com.
