3D model/drawing transit tie rod end
rallyelwood - 7/2/15 at 01:28 AM

Hello.

I'm in the process of building a Haynes Roadster together with my brother. I have drawn the car in CAD, but I haven't found any 3D model or drawing of the transit tie rod end. I would like to do some basic analysis of the suspension, and therefore I need a 3D model or drawing to check the geometry.

Is there anyone who can supply me with such or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

I'm using Catia V5 and I'm not sure if the program can read, or not, these formats. Could you send me both, to rallyelwood@gmail.com?

I believe catalogue v5 will open solid works native files
I'll send iges as well
What parts do you want
I'll have to draw them up
Will be Tuesday as out tomorrow

Sounds good, thank you.

I need the complete joint if that is possible.

I have a Transit TRE in Sollidworks 2014, both parts, mated at the ball, and the assembly...could convert to pretty much any format you'd like.
Not trying to out do Bart...just giving you another option....

Let me know.

Alan
