Morning All,

I’m looking to replace a couple of the coil overs on the project.

I thought it would be straightforward....

I can buy the correct length and diameter but it’s the fixing bolt size that is the issue.

I need coil overs to accept 5/8 (16mm) bolts but they all seem to be 12mm now.....

Gaz and Spax are my preferred brands but what other makes are recommended?

Is my only option custom made?

Could you not use top hats on the mounts, to sleeve the holes in the mounting brackets down to 12mm?

Or are you building a lorry?

Protech have bodies for Jag fitment (Cobra rears) that have 5/8" bushes
