CVH Rotor drive shaft
stig2 - 6/8/20 at 07:46 AM

Morning all.

Does anyone know where I may buy a sierra 1.8 CVH rotor arm drive shaft as I shown in the image.

Alternatively, is there a conversion to do away with the drive shaft.

Thanks for your help.

I can't see the link
When i got my CVH running i ditched the stock ignition system and put a NODIZ ecu, really straightforward, relatively cheap compared to other systems but not cheap cheap.

I guess you've tried ford parts department (using the 7 digit finnis code in that picture)?

Yeah, pretty much none existant.

I broke that when I was stripping my old engine, I was going for a different ECU anyway but did hear they are v hard to find

Timing belt tensioner for the 1.8 CVH were unavailable best part of 20 years ago , suspect because it was a relevantly small production engine that parts are scarce

One on ebay item 264787922628. Called a router shaft on there and looks expensive!
