Wheel track ?

Could you post some widest widths of your cars please, tyre too trye not bodywork.

im + 4 with mk5 tina axle
11" rear wings
wheels just inside arches
cant give exact measure till morn
at work and home pc crashed big style

Track is 1410mm (standard Escort I think) and I have 2 x 185 wide tyres, so;

1410 + 185 = 1595mm outside of tyre to outside of tyre.

All from memory.

is track measured from the CL of the hub or inside line of the wheel?

Track on cars is measured between the centr line of the tyres on each axle.

Centre to centre of tyres, 1310mm front and 1380mm rear. Wheelbase is approx 2300mm.

Sorry guys, what I am looking for is the width from outside of trye wall too same place on other side, its this sun, its getting too me.

Come on guys, how wide is an escort axled locost trye wall too trye wall, someone must have there car out in the sun.

my answer was outside of tyre to outside of other tyre.

Only caveat may be that I may be 100mm out - see Peteffs comments.

My car has Escort MkII live axle.
