My 1800 zetec suffered a cam tensioner failure last year, the engine is now sat around gathering dust. Head is off, all 16 valves are bent, pistons have slight marks from valve contact.

Bottom end should be ok - was running well prior to the 'incident'!

It's a 1994 engine, 130ps spec.

don't suppose you have the top and lower cambelt covers do you? I am still looking (only got the middle one )

One of the bits of the cambelt cover has a hole through it courtesy of the exploding cambelt tensioner pulley, think it is the middle one, so should have top and bottom ones available... I'll go have a dig through the parts bin!
