Locost for sale
Sporty - 3/10/16 at 09:46 AM

Finally decided to sell my Locost, usual story of kids and not enough time to use it properly.

The car was built in 2002 by Deansfield Motorsport in Scotland, using I think Triton body panels.

Correctly registered as a Triton T-Z.

It has a 1.8l Zetec engine with cams out of the higher power engine and , ZX 9R carbs, Mega jolt with a Bogg brothers manifold. Have had it set up on a rolling road at 146bhp.

5 speed type 9 gearbox.

Tyres are Vradstein Sportracs that's are a year old with less than 500 miles on them.

MOT is to June 17.

The car runs really well and with all these cars is great fun to drive.

However there are a few minor things that need tidying up over winter to make it spot on all listed below.

I have removed the front cycle wings, you could put one of the 2 sets on that are tatty or replace with a new set, I have the stays and all the bolts.

Interior has had vinyl applied to the transmission tunnel, it doesn't look good and needs either refitting or removing and taking back to the metal.

I have never managed to get the Rev counter to work with the megajolt.

The float as fallen off the end of the sender for the fuel gauge and therefore needs replacing, if you move it manually it works fine.

Have owned the car for about 10 years. Happy to answer any questions.

Looking for £4000.

Thanks

Ian
