FS: Nissan 1300 DOHC gas engine on test stand unit
jimmyjoebob - 22/11/19 at 04:28 PM

For sale: A gas engine with a water heat exchanger unit built onto the exhaust port, mounted on a test stand.

I don't know much about the engine other than it is a 1.3i DOHC which the engine code identifies as being from a Nissan Micra or possibly a Nissan Cube and has done low hours.

The base would make an ideal test bed. It appears well made.

I got the Suzuki engine for a jets ski to speedboat project.
I did a bit of research, which showed the Suzuki G13BB to be a good for light aircraft as well.

It seems some of these little Japanese engines from uninspiring cars can be little Gems.

I looks like your Nissan 1.3 could well be one of them.

Is there a rear wheel drive gear box available for it. Would make a great light weight Seven as well.

Did Caterham not do a 1.3 version.
