Having a tidy up and found a brand new Oxford Solariser OF949 cigarette lighter charger. The solar panel plugs into it and maintains the battery via the cigarette lighter so you can leave the solar charger on the car dashboard.

Ive got the solar panel on the garage roof and connected to the bike battery so this isn't needed.
