think i may of found my donor car
its a 93 1.8 import thats failed the mot on various things like suspension and bodywork
it looks a proper heap in the pics

what will it be worth

My sons girlfriend has one that will fail the Mot on rust.
Mot may have just run out, but it drove fine, and is all up and running.
I wouldnt consider it a complete heap.
Depends if you are striping it or just changing bodypanels. Namely depends on the sort of Kit car you are building.

I dont think she has got rid of it yet, but she has just bought a Fiesta.

I am sure its up for grabs.

U2U me with a land line number.
Location here is Cambridge.

I bought a restoration project a couple of years ago for c.£250 and don't think prices have altered that much especially since scrap has fallen through the floor.

Sounds about right, I paid £400 for a roadworthy car that was out of MOT, so a definite fail is going to be a fair chunk less than that.

went and looked at one today
its a 93 1.8 jap import(what power would this be)
5 speed gearbox
sounded ok looks like an oil leak somewhere on the lump
164000 miles
corrosion in the usual places so thats why its an mot failure
would need new discs all round
guy wants 300 ivr offered 285 so waiting on a response
