I got one made on a lathe to go inline with the oil feed hose.
Steel rod, slight recess each side to keep the hose on and straight through a 1mm (or whatever is suitable) hole.

1mm any good?

AN-4 (4AN) To M11x1.0 Garrett Turbo 1mm Restrictor Oil Feed Stainless Adapter

I've heard garrett no longer recommend 0.8mm due to oil starvation issues...

Already have a 1mm, it's on a r1 5pw engine taking the feed from oil cooler bolt using all 3an unions and 3an hose with a 1mm restrictor turbo end. On idle and lowish revs, the 're is no leakage but on high rpms I'm getting some seapage. So my thinking is restrict it slightly on the oil cooler union also , To say 1.5mm

What size is your drain hose?

12mm I'd and use a oil scavenge pump. That's defo not the problem as it still leaks very slightly when you leave it to drain Into a bowl and scavenge it from the bowl. So it iliminates a return problem.

i am by no means an expert but why would you want to restrict the oil flow? surely your just creating another failure path by building pressure behind the restrictor my boosted blade has no restrictors in the oil system have you tried running it without a restrictor?
