Dooey99 - 9/11/16 at 08:17 PM

I'm after a smashed up kit car that happens to have a log book...

gremlin1234 - 9/11/16 at 08:33 PM

ringing is a bad idea
btw I suspect dvla watch this site (as well as many others) for such activity

owelly - 9/11/16 at 08:56 PM

I'm assuming this is a joke as no-one would be stupid enough to genuinely ask for such a thing?!

bi22le - 9/11/16 at 09:06 PM

OP is so switched on that he has put his whole post code at his location.

NR14 6JN

Pop round and see how the Robin Hood build is going.

He need to finish trimming his hedge first

To be fair, he could be wanting it as a donor - one receipt and one V5 rather than loads of receipts and paperwork when trying to register the finished build after IVA?

So buy a car with a V5, and drive it into a tree. Job done.

We are all jumping to pre conceived ideas here, I'm sure there is a perfect viable explaination that is not breaking the law and all of you will look rather silly !!!

Well I would suggest the OP elaborate then. If there were a legitimate reason, it would have been sense to explain it in the OP. It is widely known that LCB does not endorse ringing, so I am amazed people post requests that appear to be exactly that.

If this isn't the case, then please enlighten us OP, and we can get started on the humble pie.

there is no legitimate reason.
Its the US equivalent of asking forna Gun with no serial numbers.

SteveWallace - 10/11/16 at 09:56 AM

Surely it depends what he means by smashed up. If its not a total write off he maybe is just looking for a cheap car that he can repair again and legitimately put back on the road without having to go through IVA. There are people on here that have bent their cars and then repaired them again.

As previously mentioned though, he's unlikely to get any positive replies without an explanation.

Yazza54 - 10/11/16 at 11:42 AM

Next level stupidity

nick205 - 10/11/16 at 04:26 PM

I think if the OP could elaborate more on what he would like the smashed up kit car and log book for there could be so more progress.

Irony - 10/11/16 at 04:48 PM

You'd think after 300+ posts he'd realise that this sort of thing is deeply frowned upon on this website.

Maybe he IS the DVLA
