Wanted Sierra 7" LSD 4:1 or 4:44 diff
dbaz293672 - 3/8/21 at 02:30 PM

HI

As above I am looking to try a different ratio currently running a ATB 3:92 but looking to see if anyone has either a 4:1 or ideally a 4:44 LSD for a sierra 7" push in shafts.

I am open to either a compete diff or just the crown wheel and pinion.

Ideally collection from Midlands or Preston.

Thanks

I don't have a diff.

I'm interested though - which model Sierra's had 4.1 or 4.44 ratio diffs? (I've not heard of those ratio Sierra diffs before)

Hi none the Sierra was never done with them ratios so it’s an aftermarket crown wheel and pinion fitted just wondered if someone had one already done before buying from Raceline

I think I have a 4.28 non-lsd from a Granada. Push in shafts.

I had a 3.92 by it seemed to sit funny while on track. I had no acceleration in 4th and loads of corners were too fast for 2nd / to slow for 3rd.

The change in ratio really allowed the car to sit in nicer rev bands on track.

Hi

Yes that’s what I am finding, even at somewhere like Snetterton I was only just getting 5th certainly seems like that’s the way I need to go

Might be cheaper getting 13" wheels ?
