Laser or CNC cutting
designer - 18/6/12 at 06:52 PM

I am spending a lot of time and money getting sheet MDF/plywood cut into parts.

Anyone know anything about small scale CNC/laser cutting machines?

I'd looked into getting some mdf bits cut for templates, surprisingly to me it was cheaper to get them done in steel.

A CNC laser cutter that's going cut anything decent will cost sever thousand $ even if done DIY try looking at:

My advice would be to find a cheaper cutting service, I was mostly surprised how cheap jobs were that'd I'd got done, but that was in Australia, so probably not of much use to you.

Doesn't have to be Laser, MDF and ply could be cut with a CNC router. Try signmakers
