marco - 1/5/16 at 01:48 PM

Car is mk indy, 13 inch 7 j rims what would be the ideal slick tyre size bearing in mind my road size is 205 50 15 on 7j rims.

Track days mainly
I was thinking a medium compound 180 530 13 or 200 530 13 I think they were the options

The 200s will probably be far too wide for a 7" rim. The 180s are usually mounted on 9" rim IIRC but would probably squeeze onto a 7". A 170/535 as was used by formula ford would probably be your best bet.

I presume crossplys? I suspect radials would be better suited for the op's car setup if interchanging with road tyres.

Michelin 20,54.13 slicks fit nicely on a 13 x 7 rim, compound s310 or f2.0 , 15 psi in the front 16 psi rear suits my car , the compound s410 is to hard for the kit car , not tried the soft s210 compound yet, may be going to cadwell on wed , i have a spare pair of s210 tyres may try them out will lit you know if there any good
