Hi all,

Sombody is able to suggest: ?

- good glue for rubber / metal
- good glue for rubber / glass
- good glue for rubber / gelcoated grp

Tiger Seal will stick all of the above,or any decent Polyurethane adhesive.

Correct - especially if you have lots of bits to stick.

I glued the wife's wing mirror glass back on to the rubber backing yesterday with super glue. It's done the job and stayed stuck (just remember it sticks your fingers together quite fast though).

Henkel/Pattex/Unibond Repair Extreme does it for me.
Not cheap if you are doing big areas/lots of items so maybe Tigerseal as above ^^

this stuff is a also a good PU adhesive (basically the same as tiger seal) - but about half the price

This stuff offers the best value I find.

Equally as strong as the leading brands, in black or white and always in stock in my local toolstation

^^ its spec sheet looks ok - somewhere in the middle of ones I've seen before
(probably stronger than tiger seal, but its really hard to get proper technical data for )

its not as strong as Wurth or Sika 221 (they are 1.8N/mm² tensile with 6N/mm tearing)
but softer and it'll stretch a bit more before it breaks (700% instead of 500%)
you can get even stronger ones too, but they tend to be harder as well


wurth isn't too bad price wise either ~£5.50+VAT (we got it much cheaper than that at work when we took several boxes at a time) - but you can get it easily across Europe too (which might be helpful to the OP )
its defiantly designed / aimed at fancy cladding systems and vehicle construction rather than your average builder
