Is this for a specific gearbox and do you already have gear lever?

Just use a standard "Morse" or "Teleflex" cable, available in all sorts of lengths & cost around £20 or so. The threads are imperial, but are so close to a metric thread (M5 IIRC) you can use metric rose joints on the ends, or just make up a bespoke adapter if required

The picture on the MK link appears to be a standard morse cable used in boats

Do a search for " Teleflex 33c morse cable "

A 4ft cable can be had for less than £20

Yeah, I thought the MK one looked just like a normal Morse cable, but it says "M6 thread" which somewhat confused me as I've never seen a metric Morse cable, tho' not to say they don't exist

Just looked at the morse cables but they don't have any thread and nuts on them higher up the cable were you would feed it through the hole in the chassis to attach them to the chassis.

They are held in place by a circlip or similar, I slid mine thro' a length of tube with a plate welded to the end, then drilled & slotted a small piece of 3mm steel plate to slide into the slot on the cable end, bolt in place & cable is secure, your adjustment is then on the cable ends

In marine use these cables are typically clamped in place.

Search for 33c morse cables

They have a large range of cable clamps & end fittings

ASAP's morse cables can be had cheaper elsewhere

Mk did use cable Tec for there cables a couple of years ago for there shifter's.
