Land rover discovery radio code ?
bob - 21/1/10 at 11:25 PM

Does anyone know how to reset/hack/basically get the radio working ?

My mate has a disco he keeps in portugal, for whatever reason (probable battery disconnection) the radio needs a code to get it working.

Problem is he has no code.

2nd problem, while in the uk he went to a landy dealer who said they can sort it if he brings car V5 and some ID

cars not here bugger.

Any clues from the worlds best font of knowledge ?

Hi Bob, on the last couple of cars I have had the radio code has been, (very helpfuly), written on the bottom of the ashtray by the former keepers. Just a thought as apparently this is quite common practise. Cheers Ray

Disco's used to be Philips radios.

This forum may help get the code but you'll need the serial and model off the radio...

There should be a code card with the Landy. It's usually in the handbook/service book. At the Rover dealership I worked at, we used to write the code on the stereo!!
