Ebay motors selling problem (getting a 30 day listing)
bi22le - 21/1/17 at 11:22 AM

Im trying to sell my old bike on ebay motors and with a fixed price I want it to be listed for as long as possible.

For some reason I can list longer than 10 days, which is crap.

A bit of google suggests that I have to have a fixed price and then I can get 30 days. I have tried this and still only get 10. I have just done this on my account, selected the correct category. I cant find a way to get specifically to ebay motors then sell.

HELP!!!

I think if you put it as a buy it now the most you can do is 10 days but you can do 30 days as a classified listing? I could be wrong though!

If the bike has quite a high value, a classified listing would be the way to go.

Just the initial insertion fee & with no rip off final value fee to pay
I find this method cheaper in the long run, subject to the item actually selling.
Potential buyers will still contact you with offers etc.

If you really want a 30 day fixed price listing.
Try using the manual selling tools rather than the quick list ones.
I have found it often gives you more selling options.

I think it is a classified listing that I need.

I try the manual set up when I have a moment

As above a classified ad is the way to go. I've always sold my cars on classified ad. You can make unlimited changes, people can ask you questions, they're remarkably versatile. They're also cheaper than Autotrader and (in my experience) seem to reach a larger audience.
