I have one but had to cut it up to fit both my cars having space frames roughly 1100mm wide . Built both cars using the lift to get the car high enough to work around and under plus it doesn’t take up much room when it’s not needed

I got one the end of last year. The adjustable width is a godsend
I got the same one as in your link. Some a bit cheaper from Germany, but I settled for that one.

A trolley jack and 4 axle stands have always done for me.

Looking at the one in your link I guess it could be stood on end and lent against a wall when out of use.

I have used CJ Auto's axle stands on wheels thingies, and they were really well made. May be worth having a look at what they offer?

This is one of the German equivalents off eBay lifting my MG ZS track car way up into the air ready for a rear suspension rebuild (and yes, I did put axle stands under it before I went much closer!) and wouldn't be without it now. You need quite a bit of space to the side of the car to slide it under but it's very stable and easy to use. The only modifications I did were to narrow it down by around 250mm as it was far too wide for any of my cars in it's standard "minimum" position, and bought a cheap SDS drill to do the heavy lifting because the hand crank was just far too slow and laborious.

Thanks for the replies going to bite the bullet and get myself one was looking at the mobile scissor lifts at £1200 but think I will use this more as more mobile and less than half the price. Do you have a link to the German one on e bay to compare.

Well I am definitely up for it, especially if a good discount is on offer.

This is the link I got mine from back in September 2015 (oskar-design) but it looks like they don't currently have any. There are many similar ones on the market and there also seem to be quite a few 2nd hand ones popping up on Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace and similar sites?
