Cbr carburator jets
DaxRushMLA - 7/6/18 at 06:57 PM

Guys,
I own a 98 carburator Honda 1100xx blackbird.
Any idea what jets the car should be running on having a bonnet scoop, 4 in 1 exhaust & having no airbox?

At the moment its on #152 outbound #155 central jets and at 6rpm it starts missing (too lean)

If anyone has any idea what jets they are on please?

Kind Regards
Brendon

Are the needles adjustable?

If so try them a bit higher, will allow more fuel as they rise.

Thanks buddy!

Thats the plan however I might need even bigger to what I already have.

If the carbs are the same type as on a R1 the jet size only effects the fueling at full throttle when the needles are right up.

Jets are not adjustable Im afraid!
So yesterday we for 160 / 158 and still was missing.
Then raised the needles slightly using washers, it did improve slightly but was struggling at low end. Need to reorder bigger jets. Do you know any company from mainland europe who sells jets individually? From the U.S they take a while to get to Malta.

Thanks
Brendon

Not sure what size/style jets are in your carbs, but in my old R1 carbs they were this type:
