Long shot, but does anyone have a Mazda RX8 who has 5 mins on their hand and could measure the distance between the tops of the front strut tops please - having looked at the Audi A6 front suspension, the RX8 front subframe assembly looks so much easier

Not exact because of the strut brace obstruction but hopefully near enough for your purposes, whatever that might be

Cheers Fishy, it's because the Audi A6 front suspension I was going to use in my beetle is so ridiculously large and complicated, I thought the RX8 would be better and if I'm really lucky I'll be able to use the (1303's) top strut mounts 🤣
