What's the average Zetec Zero weighing in at?

2.0 Zetec, wet, but no driver

Gbs claim 500-600kg depending on specification.

Be nice to see around 5-550

610 - 630 would be more acurate

Zero chance of losing 100kilo out of one of that's the case

Just for reference, my Mazda Zero weighed in around 550kg wet with bare minimum spec i.e. no screen, no carpet, no infill panels.

I don't believe I had 50kg of IVA trim to fall off and the seats weren't cast iron lumps either. Not sure where else I could have lost the weight other than going a single carbon seat over their standard vinyl pair.

Are the GBS chassis box section or tubular?

alfas - 28/3/18 at 07:54 PM

tubular

biut with GBS you have the choice of 2 body materials:

alloy or stainless

which makes a huge differnce in terms of weight

also size of wheels, 5-speed or 4-speed, brake size, rear brake design (drums or discs) and here again size of discs and calipers matters....standard calipers (casted steel or leightweight alloy ones )...fill rollcage or only rollbar.....lots of things to consider which easily change the weight by 20-50kg
