Am after a bird box camera setup for the gf's dad for his birthday. just wondering if anyone has bought a kit before and what they thought of it? not looking to spend too much and doesnt have to be Bill Oddie quality!

Selling a set in Aldi at the minute as well.

I bought one for my parents a few years ago.i bought it off ebay.i think it was 12 quid.try searching for wired spy camera.you'll need a power/signal wire aswell.i bought a wireless version to mount on my rc car aswell.the bird box one has been in the box for about 4 years and had a few clutches of chicks.

The one I've got is the same as item 320698885537.you'll need a power supply and a power video lead.he sells everything in his shop by the look of it.you'll get it all for less than 30 quid.

The important thing is the light sensitivity, no light no image.

The ir one I've got is mounted on the under side of the box lid looking down at the nest, and with only a blue tit sized hole on the front of the box theres very little natural light in the box.i was really surprised by how effective the 6 little ir leds were.
