So, may be old hat some of you lot but I've just discovered these android TV boxes. I've been using showbox and modbro on the tablet but just found out I can get them on the big screen as well..

Time to get one and throttle back the sky sub..

But, which one? Any recommendations???

Having tried one they are not worrth the money same goes for Chromecast.
Better a little extra dosh to get a Roku stick or a bit more for the Amazon Fire TV box. I have both a Roku 1 and a Fire TV
The Roku is great but the Fire TV box is the dogs danglers, lighning fast, and starts play back instantly and no buffering when playing and stunning 1080 picture quality. Amazon also have stick format device that will launch in the UK in 2015.

The other advantage of the Fire TV over Roku is it gets the Amazon Prime streaming service. In the UK Sky have blocked Roku offering the Amazon service.

Thanks, I've bought one of these off eBay.

Checked my sky account and I couldn't believe I'm paying £33 a month for the sports channels! I'm not into football so its time to get rid of it!
