At the end of March 2016, the Royal Air Force Ice Hockey Team are travelling to Windsor, Ontario, Canada to represent the RAF in the CARHA Ice Hockey World Cup. https://www.thecup2016.ca/

We are looking for Sponsors to help us get there. If anyone has any ideas or good contacts, can you please get in touch.

Thanks Jacko.

Plays and coaches for Stingrays or Rec level? Whether I can go or not, due to finances, all hinges on Sponsorship!

HE plays for the Jets but has played for stingrays too and many other team's ie Sheffield
The stingrays packed up and the new team in hull is the Pirates
He coaches for the Pirates but also the under 9 's and the young teams
One of my grand Daughter's plays for the under 9's too

It's a small world, I never thought a post on here would reveal that your son is a pro hockey player!

jacko - 29/10/15 at 03:45 PM

He's not a pro he plays for the love of ice hockey he has been playing from 14 years old and is 40 now the jets are not a pro team

Surely the RAF Sports Lottery will be funding your trip

CNHSS1 - 29/10/15 at 06:04 PM

Is Razza Nutley still playing for the RAF?

That was my first thought, they seem to look after their own, even paid for some to go over to France for a week ends hill climbing.......

The Sports Lottery are contributing but they don't give as much as they used to.

We are looking for sponsors/financial help because as you can imagine, it's quite expensive to take 22 players to Canada for a two week tournament.

Cheers,

Chris

The irony of the RAF not having a plane available. Amazing
