2016 continues to steal my childhood favourites.

Sad, at least Mel is still alive and kicking. I remember reading Gene was never the same after his wife's illness and death.

I'm surprised that no-one in the media has mentioned that he was an exceptional artist, as well as a writer/director/actor.
