I recently retired from the building trade and have fitted out my works van as a camper van. D.V.L.A are aware, the insurance is due very shortly, should I see it go up or down due to the conversion.

you may have issues with transferring 'no claims' from commercial to private

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. Generally I would say a converted camper van show be cheaper to insure than a standard commercial vehicle. We should have no issues with your NCD either.
Regards,
Dan.

my friends converted van went up in insurance after the refit. did you have any luck with adrian flux?

My broker actually got it cheaper, Adrian Flux was good but the quote I went with was with Agean at just £220 including key cover.
