Looks like a con to me...its even in Nigeria... as if that didnt give it away

If you contact EBay and explain the situation they should sort it out, along with the buyer.

Find attached what I feel is a relevant image

I would have a guess at yes it's a con.
I wouldn't even go anywhere near it with an address like that.

I get strange questions from ebay all the time, most asking if i still want to buy stupid things like microwaves and mobile phones. I do the spoof@ebay thing and let them sort it out..

Never send anything till you have the payment !!! There's no chance of getting any money after its sent !

JoelP - 31/10/05 at 07:02 PM

hi graham. Email back and demand payment in full in advance, and point out that that is an ebay requirement (not sure it is, but no harm in blagging the blaggers!) State that the only acceptable form of payment is a cheque drawn on a UK bank (anyone confirm this is safe?). When they fail to pay (they wont pay, cos it is a blag!) file a non paying bidder report with ebay, and you will get your fees refunded!

you have my sympathies regarding being messed about i had it recently for 28k when i sold a house at auction...

Northy - 31/10/05 at 08:00 PM

The buyer is no longer a registered user of EBay! I knew it was a con, but had to convince the missus!

I'm tempted to ask for a cheque made out to "Ivor Biggun" or the like!

Has anyone got a link to the blink motorsport (I think) website where he blagged the blaggers?
