How to reset house alarm
LoMoss - 23/4/07 at 08:06 PM

Moved into my new house and there is no instructions for the alarm. There is no makers name on the control, just 9930. Is there away this can be reset at the controller pcb?

Just ask if you need any more info.

Thanks

Hall

Yeah. Sounds like a Scantronic number.

Have a look here for some instructions - can't see the 9930 but try a number that's close!

engineers code should br 0 7890, this will put the system into engineer mode.

type 99 and enter (tick symbol) to exit the system.

you might not be able to change the customer code though without resetting to factory default

the manual for the 601/602 ihas very similar instructions as for a 9800

to factory default the programming you have to fit the link marked reset on the main pcb and then power the unit up

remember to remove the link when done

cheers

Getting there.

It now shows 'lid tamper. reset required. 9651' The engineers code does not seem to work.

Would get a dog if it could survive for 4 weeks.
