THIS LISTING on eblag says fits 1990~2000.

Does that mean it will have the standard 4 banger bellhousing pattern the same as a type 9?

Looking for something like this to go behind a zetec.

snapper - 15/6/10 at 12:44 PM

The bellhousing looks huge and the gearlever is in the wrong place

Should do yes.

r1_pete - 15/6/10 at 12:55 PM

It will probably fit, but the ratios will be awefull in a car.

Looks very much like a Transit 2.5 Diesel box.

OK, what I'm looking for is a short (shorter than type 9) to go behind a zetec. Direct bolt up required.

Its so I have enough room to hang a 410 transfer box with a short (4"~6" prop off the back... then the props go to Range Rover axles.

UNLESS... I can get a LT77 with landrover transfer box attached then it will be T16 turbo powered

Got a spare MT75 you can have to play with.

Not sure where in the UK you are but Im in the midlands

Cheers Andy, going to Newark by any chance?

smac - 15/6/10 at 05:18 PM

I got a transit gearbox you can have if you like. Save me falling over it.

Vindi_andy - 15/6/10 at 05:45 PM

forgot to mention its a car MT75. Just been and measured it and its approx 620mm from bell housing to output flange.

Yes I am going to newark but only Sunday (wife refuses to camp over) so let me know if this is ok and Ill find a way to fit it in tango.

How does £20 sound.

paul@firstmotion - 15/6/10 at 08:59 PM

The MT75 in the listing is for a transit diesel hence the large bell housing and position of the gearlever no good for fitting to 4 pot petrol pinto or zetec!!
