daniel mason - 14/9/13 at 06:18 PM

got the car running up to temp today and once cooled i checked the header tank for coolant condition. it was pretty grubby and orange so want to flush it all out and re do with some decent coolant.
are there any recommended for track conditions. car is a zzr1100 radical! cheers

I just use decent long life OAT anti-freeze plus a water wetter additive. Normally recommended mix is 50/50 but I use it at 33% in the Fury.

Whats the standard zzr recommendation?

Totally off topic, but, how does the zzR go?

Sticking one in the 7 this winter and just curious. Cheers

If the coolant is orange it is OAT coolant, any brand name OAT coolant will be compatible.
Tthese days most coolant is sold pre-mixed at 50% solution rather than as antifreeze concentrate.

not driven the car yet so cant answer really. its a brand new powertec motor with flatslide race carbs and carbon airbox. if you look on youtube, most radical clubsports seem to ge quite well!

I use Sikolene Pro Cool, recommended by my local motorbike store.
