300HP supercharged Kawasaki engine
Rod Ends - 10/2/14 at 07:38 PM

Engine for a jetski, so no gearbox. Dunno which if any bike engine it based on.

Marine 1,498 cm3 In-line Four Engine

Fitted with a supercharger and intercooler, the liquid-cooled 1,498 cm3, In-line 4-cylinder
marine engine that propels the ULTRA 310 Series models forward with an exhilarating
rush of acceleration produces an output much greater than a normally aspirated engine of the same displacement.
This is due in large part to the use of a roots type TVS supercharger, which generates boost even at low rpm to ensure powerful
acceleration, right from idle. A number of changes to increase engine efficiency – by reducing mechanical loss, and through
other improvements – elevate engine output to 221 kW (300 PS).

Nice.

Not many going to get written off by born-again bikers though.

I guess being from a jetski it gets pretty efficient cooling of the compressed charge.
Some of those water based air coolers can get better than 100% efficiency, more difficult in a car.

can a gear box not be stuck onto it? surely there will be an output flange for the impellor so you can stick a prop shaft on that to a car gear box?

I bet it weighs next to nothing too!

maybe not a bad idea with all the water / rain that about.

A new new slant on the 7 type car - the Submersible 7!!!
