Zetec 220mm 1.8 clutch capability ?
big_wasa - 8/4/18 at 06:01 PM

Having finished my turbo Zetec in fwd format and giving up on the midlana before I start. I thought I may as well make it rwd and fit it and see what it does.
I am trying to do this on the cheap with bits from the shed.

So my question is what Torque have people put through the 220mm Zetec clutch ?

My engine should be running around 220 bhp and 240ft/lb. I won’t be driving it like I stole it until I do somthing with the gearbox and would be happy with a 10000/ 2y life span.

Nice job Wasa. Can't help with the clutch question but good to see your still making progress with the Zetecs. This may be a route for me to go down once I'm used to what I have currently fitted.

Let me know if you ever think of getting rid of it.

Still up for a run out once the weather gets better?

That looks superb is it going into the MkIndy?

That's the way I am leaning. May be the v6 is a lump to far.

Ps I've not forgotten your belt.

My new cam belt will also be out of date as well soon!
The Zetec turbo would be the best option a lot more straight forward installing that than the v6.
And it will go like stink....an extra 120bhp at least.
