Suspension components

Hi
I know this is probably a really silly question. I have a car that needs to be scrapped. I want to remove the rear struts and front springs. If I remove the these, will the car still stand or will it simply drop to the floor? I am assuming the later, but I am wondering.
Thanks
G

Sierra? The rear will be ok if your only removing the damper as the springs will still be doing their job for moving it,just undamped.

The front springs would be a different kettle of fish though! Once you remove them you would need to replace them with some timber between the bottom spring platform and top turrent to still be able to move the car.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Thanks for your prompt replies.

I was assuming that this would be the case, but I just wanted to be "doubly sure".
