Angry birds, Angry birds seasons, angry birds Rio.

Then....... Robo defense, air control, x construction

All free but the X construction upgrade for 69P is well worth it, build bridges and see if your train full of people can get across - sound effects are funny especially if you fail.

oh and dont forget the formula1.com Lite free app - live mappingand timing while watching F1

Oh and locost works better on my phone if i turn sideways, not sure how you spell wrong when it does it for you lol

Speed view is a good one.0-60 timer and 1/4 mile timer.also can display your speed in mirror inage so you can put it ib your dashboard in the night as a head up display.

There are a few nice ones around for GPS based speedo and data logging, like RaceAce. Torque is similar and also talks to OBDII port via a bluetooth dongle. I also use Sportstracker pro and OSMAND as loggers when I'm on my bike and running to record training stuff like heart rate and cadence (via a bluetooth HR chest strap).

Where's My Droid is also handy if you are the sort of person who looses things

Tim.

Definitely swype, better keyboard than stock android, you just swype your finger roughly around the keys to point at the different letters you need for each word, so much faster than just typing and surprisingly easy to get the hang of it.
You will have to google it and sign up for their trial as its still in beta (so not available from the android app store).

Documents to go; smooth calendar (gives you a better calendar widget); firefox mobile (don't use this all the time but it is fantastic if you use the most recent firefox on your main computer as they can be synchronised so that you can do everything from looking up active tabs from the pc on your phone, using your pc favorites, even the pc internet history. Amazing as its all automated from a one time set up.)

As for games, if you like x construct get spaghetti and marshmallows. Meganoid is a great performer.

There's an app called Applanet ... if you're into that kind of thing, it's like the android market but free apps.

Does drop box or any other app make synchronising your phone files with your pc easy? I currently store a lot of files on my desire, and therefore need to back them up to pc. But on occasion I edit files on the pc - so end up in situation where some files on pc are newer, whilst many on phone are newer. Need a decent way to manage this.

I thought it would be nice if phone synchronized to pc automatically over wireless when in house but I can't seem to find anything that does this.

Sorry to hijack slightly, its probably a topic on its own.

*edited to correct android spelling mistakes lol*
