Various Parts - updated 28 Jul

Hi All

This thread will contain all my parts for sale and I'll add to them when I get the chance.

All can be collected from either Linton on Ouse (YO30 2AA) or Lytham St Annes.

NEW STUFF

Competition Car Suspension Design, Construction and Tuning by Alan Staniforth

Very good condition with no tears or damage. Minor curling to the dust cover, but the main hard cover is great.

£10 plus postage (£3.15 RM 2nd class)

PREVIOUSLY LISTED

Locost Bonnet with louvres

Dimensions:

Length 99cm
Width at rear: 96.5cm
Drop at rear: 18cm
Width at front: 70cm
Drop at front: 16.5cm

Overall good condition, but with some minor damage, most notably at the front corners. Paint in good condition. £35.

Fire Extinguisher and mounting bracket

Will need to be re-filled. Or, can be used as a weapon next time you get cut up by a muppet in a Volvo. The gauge appears to show it holds pressure well.

£make me an offer, but obviously not a massive one.

DAMAGED but cheap Sparco Formula Helmet. Size Small (56cm).

This helmet was dropped a while ago and as a result was no longer suitable to race with. However, it would be ideal for an open-topped car where the driver needed protection from the wind and insects. Other than the small crack on the left hand side, the helmet is in good condition. The visor is OK and could do with a clean. If you're really picky you may want to change this or fit a sexy mirrored one! It's a non-HANS helmet.

It's this one

Safety Devices EXPIRED 6 point Harness.

Previously used for racing until it went out of date. Still functions well.

Comes with 2 NEW top plate and 4 NEW normal mounts for harness clips (worth about £15 on their own)

£60 posted (or £50 without the mounts)

K&N Universal Air Filter. I can't find the model number but the details are as follows:

Length 10" filter, 11" overall
Diameter (fat end) 8"
Diameter (thin end) 5"

It's a big version of the K&N RU-3050

Still in the original packaging, but a couple of the vanes are bent from storage (see pics). Bought to use for a super-duper intake system, but ran out of enthusiasm before I got round to it.

£25 plus post

0.5 cm diameter Brake pipe. Approx 170cms worth.

£3 plus post?

Ecotek valve

FOR DETAILS CLICK HERE

I don't know if I've still got the adapter, I just used it in the inlet manifold vacuum tap (screws straight in).

£8 plus post?

The hub is the splined version with a single large spline to make sure it's correctly aligned.

I think madrallysport is going to have it, but I'll post on here if he doesn't.

Book added. It's a good book. If your car has suspension it would be a good buy. If your car doesn't, it would probably be a good buy to tell you why it should have suspension, and help you design it.
