Lest We never forget

Farewell to a modern Day gladiator Cut down in his prime, he was buried today.

A tribute to A People's Champion

Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!

I'm not afraid to say that a tear rolled down my cheek at the end. Very sad. RIP Marco.

Those lads are all heroes, I loved watching Marco battering the bike into submission and blasting through the opposition regardless making his own openings as was his style. It's sad when these things happen.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I still haven't seen the crash (saw it on BBC news and they stopped it as he came off - that was enough for me) so don't really want to watch this video. I feel the same, I've been more gutted by his death that any other motorsport crash than I can remember, was talking about it again with someone last night and felt really upset. It's a real shame - he was surely gonna be the next big thing.

Do we think Colin and Vale will retire now? I really feel for those guys, not the way you want to end a career - you're never going to forget that one.
