duratec full engine/gearbox package

standard 2L duratec engine 40k miles and about 200 in westfield (if that)

raceline steel flywheel and ap clutch cable operated

weber alpha throttle bodies

pro4 alpha ecu mapped for engine above

type 9 long input shaft box (so no stupid extension for gear stick) with bellhousing and spacer (spacer could be removed for use with small input shaft box)

prop shaft (type 9 to sierra diff) (diff not included in the sale)

small denso type alternator

lift pump and high pressure pump

neil brown exhaust manifold (would cost a fortune new)

short sump

engine mountings

full running package and still in car so can be seen running,i could even take buyer for a spin

the only things you would need for a full install is silencer diff and pipework to rad

also included a spare engine in bits good bottom end but head is shot on 1 port

2750 quid the lot (selling as a package will not split)

I wish this setup had been around when I started my Duratec Build.

With all of the bits bolted on to the engine I reckon this is a very good value setup, ready to go, without much ball ache.

I know the cost of my build is growing and growing, yet still need an exhaust system

I know exhaust was a lot but I think it'll be hard to get that money 2nd hand when you look at raceline exhaust prices and didn't realise it was webcon, I was relating prices to omex which isn't too much more.

hi eddie

raceline's exhaust wont flow 300 bhp (and im not slateing racelines products i have bought loads off chris and peter in the past)

as for the omex, a 600 ecu comes in around 550 quid plus vat, then 200 to 300 plus vat for a proper loom then you need injectors, tb's, manifold, pressure reg, lift and presure pump filters etc it goes on and on and then it all needs mapping

someone's coming for the kit this morning,i'll let you know if they don't go for it

taken from northampton motorsport's web site

omex 600 ecu 545
ecu prog kit 20
coms cable 5
full race spec loom 270
tps 92
coolant temp 15
air temp 15
lambda sensor 55
lambda loom 5
coil pack 50

Just arrived home after collecting Stews engine package....very happy with it thanks. Price wise well I'm not bothered about an arguement but believe me I did the maths (several times) before purchasing to buy a duratec install all new with a set of bike CARBS and a Megajolt came to well over 2k using a 100k unknown engine. Thats before you hit problems with getting a map and getting it running etc.
Now I have proper bodies, proper management, proper loom etc mapped ready to plug and play and I've seen and heard it running together.....sorted.
My only problem now is to sell off the bits I'd already bought new
Bellhousing
Flywheel
Clutch Arm
Release Bearing
Spigot Bearing
Anyone interested?????

I might be interested after Christmas. I was hoping to get this package when I'm back in the UK because it would be a lot simpler and quicker.
