Rs 4 spokes on sierra uprights?

Hi, thought id try an Rs 4 spoke on the front of my car today as i have a spare set and like the retro look they would give.
now it seems they hit on the caliper slightly I tried spacing the wheel out by about 1/2" and just it about misses.
it looks like if i ground a bit off the caliper and holder it would work, has anyone tried this?
next has anyone fitted Rs 4 spokes over sierra rear disc brakes? im happy to alter the upright if i need to.
thanks in advance.
Ray

I had the Capri Lazer wheels and they needed a 1/2" spacer up front.
Some one on here had a batch of rear caliper springs made up that we're smaller and gave the required. Learance.

When fitting Laser wheels to Dads Velocity we had to grind (gently) a bit of the casting off the caliper.

Apparently, its a common ish problem, because the casting moulds were a bit industrial.

U2U norfolkluego if you want and he'll confirm what he had to do.

Thanks for responses I havent measured the discs but it all came of a late estate with abs so probably the larger ones.

What about the effect to handling? It moves the tyre contact patch put from the line of the upright and buggers up the geometry???
