13 inch rim sizes?

Would like to get people's opinions on wheel sizes?

I'd quite like to put some 13inch wheels on the VortX and was wondering what size rims would be most suitable. I've got Sierra uprights and Wilwood Powerlites.

What do most people run in rim size and tyre choice?

I'm thinking 6 x 13 with PCD of 108 (for the Ford hubs...). What ET is standard? 35 rings a bell...

And tyre size? 185 70 13? Toyo R888s?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Chris.

IMHO 13in wheels have a lot to offer our ( mostly ) light weight cars, including less unsprung weight and lower rubber costs than anything bigger. As an example my 13in set ( 185/60 fronts on 6in rims and 205/60 rears on 7in rims ) on my Cyclone are 25kg lighter than my Elise set - all unsprung, and the cost of rubber is nearly half. The limit is brake clearance, you wont get anything bigger than a 250mm disc in a 13in wheel unless you have F1 calipers available.
