Oven light

We have a Hotpoint EW74X cooker and the oven bulb needs replacing. Any ideas how to get the domed cover off or it a question of working from the back, I hope not.

Forgotten how to insert image in a post.

I replaced our oven light, not a Hotpoint so may be diferent, but the glass was removed by pushing in and turning anti clock. HTH Ray

My folks just had theirs replaced in their Neff. They tried the special removal tool to no effect and got a man in.

He hit it with a mallet to loosen it
