Some track day doing shoes.

Worth 2 seconds per lap. Mainly because they are bright red!!

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Just finished Arnie's bio, it's incredible what he achieved given his starting point in life (rural village in Austria with no running water). Does make you feel like a huge under-achiever though.

My best present: found out that I will be having a girl in April/May. (We were expecting but didn't know the gender). :-)

I got the book "A to Z of Kitcars" by Steve Hole. It's pretty good. It seems to have a photo of every car in it, and there are hundreds. It has a quick blurb about the cars and says roughly how many were made. Lots that I've never heard of.

I got a Halfords tool chest. It was a cheapie £50 one that I picked out but I knew what to expect in regards to quality. It's been so much better than having half a dozen tool boxes strewn around the place with tools just thrown in whichever one is closest.

I had my two favourite watches stolen earlier in the year. I had one since I was 10 and the other one was a 21st birthday present from my gran. So my gran got me a replacement Swatch, which looks good.

I also got an amazing growing goldfish. Simply put it in water and it grows huge! Except it's been in a bowl of water for four hours and it's done nothing except get a bit slimy. The packaging says it takes about 3 days to get to full size. It also says "Watch as it grows!" Hooray for novelty gifts to waste money on.
