Opel Manta 1800 big wing sump (s) for sale

not of interest to too many on here, but worth a mention, we have had a production run of remanufactured opel manta 1800 big wing cast alloy sumps made.

This is the sump used in RWD applications of Vauxhalll XE (redtop) engines in conventional cars such as the mk1 and mk2 escort and the manta (obviously!) as well as others.

here's a piccy!

pricing is £175 + vat for the bare sump, pickup pipes on exchange basis for std 16v ones, £20 + vat

Very nice. Hope they are better than the abortion that yukspeed produce.

Should be good for c20xe, c20let and z20let (current thoughts are changing to this engine)

Perfectly summed up Ben!

Yes, somewhat better than the fabricated ones from elsewhere!

Yep fits all on your list!

ps I'd stick with the xe type and turbo that, the head is much better

We've just done one, bog stock engine with T34 turbo on top mount manifold and omex management, made 250hp flywheel on 4.5psi boost and 350+ (maxed rollers) on 16psi...........it was run to 28psi but tried to escape the rollers and shred its tyres at that

It's in a chevette that looks bog standard on the outside
