Finally managed to fit the headlight covers.

The only remaining job before the blating season will be a tweaking of suspension setup.

I did buy the covers with my kit, and am still udecided as to how to fit them.....I quite like the look of the covers with a black frame like this:

I thought doing it this way, any brackets could be hidden...Either way, the covers look great, I also want to get a set of carbon covers made up for track days.....plus I think they would great on the J15.

I think the chrome look defines the headlights and gives a mid-60s sportscar look...

Certainly needs something, no idea what that alloy trim is, the black border may be easier, don't know!

I have a pair to fit too. The ali angle approach is what a number of period cars used so I shall probably go that route. Any idea where you obtained the "chrome" trim from Jeff? My covers are 1/8" gauge.

Must be the 'in job' at the moment. Just fitted mine to the Fury.

I made stainless brackets mounted with a 3mm stainless nut and bolt through the bodyshell.
Tapped for a 4mm screw. Polycarbonate spacer glued to the inside so that
I do not crack it through over tightening.
