people have been up to it for a while, there was a BBC series called they who dare 1995 I think one of the episodes was about free climbing 45s in to
the youtube video below you can see a guy free climbing new York bridge.

I caught the start and recorded the rest, not sure if I'm going to watch it or not
Part of my job is climbing telecomm masts, some of them pretty damn high, but this scares the cr@p out of me!! When we take so much care not to fall
this is difficult to watch.

Crazy mothers! I used to regularly climb 400ft tower cranes in canary wharf, that was scary with a harness on!

I couldnt let go of the soffit boards...
Its weird, its not the height I dont like, its the knowing I'm at the top. I can climb up ok, but just putting my head above the gutter is the
problem.
If it was a 4 floor house, I could climb to the 3rd floor no problem. Weird
