Actually managed to get the car out today...

For the first time in what feels like months (at least 3 months) we've had 2 or 3 consecutive days without rain... whoopie!

Got the car out and went out driving for a few miles - nice sunny weather, reasonably dry roads, bleedin' cold but I wrapped up well. Nice.

...and... it's due to rain again in the next day or so... sigh...

Roll on Summer.

A cracker of a day (so far), blue sky, 12degrees and no sign of rain until Tuesday If the MK wasn't in bits I would be out there
Anyone taxing their kit yesterday will be well chuffed

Nice blat today.. cleaned the dust off and enjoyed it ..
Only downside was getting overtaken by an 'R Type' twice..
Beat him sideways and round the corners but once up to 5th gear he pounced past me
Times like this crossflow vs zetec jumps to mind..

I went out last week and came back and fitted the screen, Fridgio!!
Went back out, much better.
I'm on a 1300 xflow, 4 cogs at moment but have 2L pinto, type 9 and 40DHLA's
and a 1600 zetec, standard low miles options lurking in the garage. Can't make my mind up.
I can hit a ton easily as is and to be honest very rarely do that, so why
bother? Although 5 cogs would be nice.
