GoPro HD Hero 3+ Black Edition Settings

I have been lucky enough to receive a GoPro as a birthday gift Now, I have bought the correct memory card, I hope (It was recommended on the GoPro list) and all the accessories I need to mount it to the roll bar, including an external mic + adapter, but am a complete novice when it's comes to cameras/video recording.

I have seen some cracking footage recorded by these cameras and was wondering whether someone would be so kind to recommend some base settings and how to setup the camera etc.

Many thanks

anything above 720p will get really good results. the higher the frame rate the smoother the video will be but generally above 25fps is fine. the higher you put the resolution and frame rate the quicker the card will fill up.

there should be a little book in the box telling you all the basics its really worth a read as there are some good pointers in there. the gopro website also has free video editing software you can download too.

Cheer Ash. I must admit that I haven't read through any of the booklets, but I will have a look! However, I have downloaded the video editing software...just need to record some footage now
