Caravan (make a good trailer) For Sale

I have an old (1989) Swift caravan that I have robbed to make a Camper van (current project)

The chassis is an Ally Chassis and in very good condition.

Comes complete with the body, windows, lights, jockey wheel.
Good brakes, Tyres are good, and there is a spare.
Inside is stripped bare except a tall cupboard and some high level cupboeards.

It would make an excellent lightweight trailer.
Located nr Cambridge.

£50

Geoff

Well, yes if it was a lot closer, but the word "robbed" raised my eyebrow slightly

Robbed = I am building a campervan, hence all the useful bits like the beds, kitchen, seating, cupboard doors, handles etc have been removed.

Whats left is a caravan shell, with windows and door.
It still has Wheels, Good tyres etc
Its still towable, and all the towing lights are in place.
I've just removed all the habitation parts.
The shell itself leaks, and isnt really suitable to live in.

I just thought it would make a good base for a lightweight trailer, as the chassis is in really good condition.

Is anyone interested at any price?
Otherwise its headed for the scrapyard.

Dont scrap it, Ebay it. Some one will collect for 100 I recon.

I was really lucky and brought a bare parallel chassis (Alko) for 50. That needed tyres and a whole bed building on top. I did it for about 400 all in.

I'm near Cambridge, its a long way to come just for some scrap cupboards (without the doors).
You would probably do some damage getting them out. As they are glued and stapled into place like most caravan construction.
Its why I knicked the doors and built new carcases in my van.

Happy to take photo's and email them. PM me if you want the pics.

I just had a thought.... It would make a good base for a teardrop caravan, and probably light enough to tow behind a kit car.

Just a thought.
