Coozer - did you get it set up on a rolling road? If so, where - or do you know a good RR company locally?

I can strongly recommend MacDonald Racing on Maiden Law, between Anfield Plain and Lanchester, for their rolling road expertise.

Set mine up with the MS myself using an AFR and tuner studio..

Swapped to an Omex and got it set up at at Automark in Stokesly.

Apologies to Mark for the thread 'hijack' !

@baileyperformance - heard good reports about you guys, but at over 4hrs to get there, it's not that close! Besides will be next year by the time I have the IVA sorted and need an RR session

Thread now 'unhijacked' - as I now too have an ST170 engine! (well, when I pick it up that is)

So, might be picking your brains later on (and Coozer's too)

Main question I have now is what do I need to mate it to my Type9 box (ie which flywheel, clutch, bearing, cable clutch arm etc)?

I'll get on to induction later I guess.

You need a 1.8 escort zetec flywheel and a Mk1 Mondeo cover and plate, a CTT133 release bearing from a Capri.

That lot will go under a standard type 9 bellhousing and release fork. Alternatively, a ali RS2000 bellhousing works OK as well.

Short shaft IMO.

And yes you need a spigot bearing, unless its a st170 which already has one fitted.

This any good?
FORD ESCORT LIGHTENED FLY WHEEL FOR GTI

Also, is the clutch for any particular Mk1 Mondeo? (found one for a 1.8 diesel and 2.0 petrol - are they the same?)
